I also had a new lens to try: I'm now using a 10mm lens (yes, really) on a full-frame body (Sony A7). This is a rectilinear lens, not a fisheye, so I wanted the widest possible, and this is the best I could find. It was meant for APS-C sensors, so I crop all pictures square to get rid of the lens hood.. which I guess makes them more like 11mm in "angle". Turns out square is a good match for extreme rectilinear perspective, since it means the distortion is more equal in all directions compared to 3:2.
This lens is an experiment for me to see if I can live without fisheye, and enjoy a different kind of wide. It makes people look even more wonky than fisheye, but it is great for buildings and objects, making things look very dynamic without the fisheye bulging. Square pictures are obviously not the best for landscape photography, but some cool results nevertheless.
Also joined the hip kids and shoot in raw nowadays. I like the added control to fix shots later. I use this software.
Also was carrying the Ricoh Theta S (upgraded from the regular Theta I had), and made some gridpics of course.
(order of pictures below is a bit random, blogspot's editing tools are pretty medieval).
